Abhijit Das is Director of Centre for Health and Social Justice (CHSJ) a policy research and advocacy institution around health and human rights and men and gender equality in India. He is also a Clinical Assistant Professor at the Department of Global Health, at the University of Washington in Seattle USA. He has been actively advocating engaging men within a gender equality framework and working extensively with men in different states of India, involving them on gender issues at the family level like domestic violence, girl’s education, participation in domestic work, early marriage, dowry and so on and at the gender issues at the public level like women’s participation in panchayats, eve-teasing and sexual harassment, and implementation of the law on domestic violence. He has been involved in setting up MASVAW (Men’s Action for Stopping Violence Against Women) a network of men working on gender equality and responding to the issue of violence against women in India as well as a founder of FEM (Forum to Engage Men).

Dean Peacock is co-founder and co-director of the Sonke Gender Justice Network, a South African NGO working across Southern Africa on issues related to gender, HIV and AIDS and human rights—especially through the implementation of its One Man Can Campaign. Dean currently serves on the UNAIDS Global Task Force on Women, Girls, Gender Equality and HIV, and the UNDP Expert Group developing the Gender Guidance for National AIDS Responses. In addition to his work at Sonke Gender Justice, he is co-founder and co-chair of the MenEngage Alliance and is a part-time member of the University of California at Los Angeles Program in Global Health.

Gary Barker, is International Director of Promundo-DC, that works locally, nationally and internationally to promote gender equity and to reduce violence against children, women and youth. He has carried out research on men, violence, gender, health and conflict in Latin America, sub-Saharan Africa and Asia, and co-authored numerous training materials, including the Program H series for working with young men to promote gender equality and reduce violence against women. He has served as a consultant to the World Bank, the International Rescue Committee, UNDP, WHO, UNAIDS, UNFPA, UNICEF, USAID, the UN Commission on the Status of Women on issues related to gender, engaging men, health promotion and violence prevention.

Oswaldo Montoya is the MenEngage Global Coordinator. He is a Nicaraguan psychologist and one of the founders of the Men's Group Against Violence in Managua, which was the first men's group of this kind in Central America. For over twenty years he has served as an educator, activist, program officer, researcher, consultant and counsellor engaging men and boys in the efforts to build a more gender equitable society free from violence and discrimination. Oswaldo worked with Puntos de Encuentro, a feminist organization in Nicaragua, with Save the Children and with Emerge (in Cambridge, Massachusetts), providing counselling to Latino men who engage in violence.

Ms Hafiza joined BRAC in 1990 and is currently the director of the gender justice and diversity and the migration programmes. Ms Hafiza is widely recognised for her expertise in areas ranging from social communication and policy advocacy, organisational change process, human resource management and development, gender justice and empowerment, and on the rights of labour migrants. She also has expertise in the area of cross-cutting organisational development, and programme development.
